Recipe for Hemp Seed and Brazil Nut Milk
Ingredients:
- 1 cup raw hemp seeds
- 1 cup raw Brazil nuts
- 7 cups filtered water
- ¼ cup yacon syrup
- 1 Tbsp vanilla flavoring
- ¼ tsp Himalayan salt
Directions:
Step 1:
Soak the seeds and nuts in the water for 4-8 hours.
Step 2:
Pour half of the water into a bowl, reserving it.
Step 3:
Place the remaining water and nuts into your blender, and blend on high speed for several minutes or until liquefied.
Step 4:
Line a strainer with a very large nut bag and place over the reserved bowl of water then slowly pour the nut milk slurry into the bag. You may have to do this in batches. Squeeze the bag until all liquid squeezes out. Reserve the but fiber for other recipes.
Step 5:
Add yacon syrup, vanilla, and salt. Refrigerate up to a week. Shake well before using.
