How To Succeed on The Raw Food Diet In a Cooked Food Family

by | 5 comments

You’re not going to believe this! I actually left my teleseminar with Angela Elliot the other night, right in the middle of it to go pee!! But can you blame me?

We were laughing sooo hard we both had tears rolling down our cheeks.

This call is probably one of the most informative I have ever done. I had NO idea that it would be the gem that it was, but I was more than impressed and amazed with Angela Elliot, author of Alive in Five. While this call was really intended to be part of our full support program, the Body Enlightenment System, it was Soooooo good, I just had to share it with everyone.

I’m telling you, this chick is DYNAMITE! Any woman who can sell out of more than 300 raw sandwiches (valued at a modest $22 each) in less than an hour has earned my respect and admiration as a wiz in the kitchen or one helluva saleswoman. Either way, you’ve got to download this interview onto an ipod and get everything you can out of it.

I really cannot promise how long we’ll make it available, but the bottom line is, I’ve been so super inspired by this woman, that I just HAD to post this interview with Angela Elliot and share it with the world. So, here’s the deal!

If you want to save about $1500 in raw food gadgets, expensive ingredients and a whole lot of hassle, LISTEN TO THIS CALL!

This call is the most real and down-to-earth, dogma-free call I’ve ever had with a person. I loved it, and if you are new to raw foods, you’ll love it to! The whole call was designed to tell people how to set up a new raw food kitchen. But we just covered EVERYTHING. How to handle fussy husbands and picky kids. How to stay real about raw foods and make it FUN!

People get so stressed about following the “rules” that they let fun fly out the window. You’ll hear it for yourself throughout this call, we had an amazing time and laughed until we cried. I know, I know… I could be more professional, but if you want perfectly edited audio and professionalism, try Jenny Craig. πŸ˜‰ We’re just here having a good time, loving life and learning as we go!

Enjoy this call while it’s still available. You may check back and find a couple key paragraphs missing one day because we decided to include it as part of one of our paid programs!! πŸ˜‰

Enjoy the call and keep us posted.

Here are some amazing recipes that Angela refers to in this call! Enjoy, and be sure to check out Angela Elliot’s website!

Kids love all kinds of fruit, smoothies, shakes, dips and veggie sticks, and desserts to start out with. This is how I would introduce raw foods to kids. I always make it about fun, and simplicity. Most of all KIDS LOVE TO HELP IN THE KITCHEN, so INVOLVE THEM every single time. πŸ™‚ Here are some fun and easy recipes for the kids in your life!

Ian’s Avo Rockets (requires no equipment at all)
Makes 3 servings

My son Ian came up with this recipe in a car on the way to a party with very little ingredients when he was 12 to impress his friends!

2 ripe avocados, reeds work the very best!
2 sheets raw nori
Lettuce

Slice the avos into crescent moons, and peel off the skin. Slice the nori into 1/4 inch thick strips, and wrap them around each avocado slice. Serve on a bed of lettuce.

Dreamy Ice Cream (requires a blender and Ice cream maker)
Makes 3 servings

This is my raw chocolate ice cream. Everyone screams for more!

1/2 cup raw cacao powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 cups dessert milk
2 Thai young coconuts, meat only plus 1/2 cup coconut water (drink the water mmmmmmmm, but save 1/2 cup for the recipe!)
1/2 cup raw agave
1 tablespoon vanilla flavor from Frontier or use 1 vanilla bean
1/8 teaspoon Himalayan or Celtic sea salt
2 tablespoons raw coconut oil (I love Artisana)

Combine the dessert milk, coconut meat, and coconut water in a blender, and process until smooth and creamy. Let stand for 1-2 minutes. Add the powdered cacao, agave, vanilla, and salt, and blend well. Add the coconut oil, and blend once more. Pour into Cuisinart ice cream maker, and freeze according to the manufacturer’s directions.

Cucumber Pizza’s (requires no equipment at all)
Makes 4 servings!

One day I was in a hurry to prepare something tasty before one of my friends came over for tea, but all I had in the house were olives and cucumbers. Hence this recipe was born! My friend loved it and requests it every time she comes to visit. This is not only her favorite recipe, but also all of my clients favorite recipe too.

4 cucumbers, sliced into rounds
2 cups chopped olives green or black or both!
Arrange the cucumber slices on an attractive platter. Top with chopped olives and serve.
