natural face lift3 Simple Steps to Firmer Glowing Skin

~ by Jodie Lea Cleave

Last week we covered a simple technique for rejuvenating your bright eyes with an Acupressure eye lift. Today we’re continuing on a similar theme by sharing a few tips on how to give yourself a beautiful face massage that has long lasting results.

This technique not only feels divine but is a perfect way to apply your Skin Renewal Solution without wasting a single drop.

Let’s get you ready to face the holidays feeling fresh and gorgeous!

Authentic Beauty is Simple

Facial massage has been used for thousands of years as a tried and true method for stimulating the flow of lymphatic fluids in order to brighten, tighten and smooth the skin.

If you’ve ever treated yourself to a facial, I bet you felt amazing afterwards. I’m also betting the beautician bundled ALL the products she used, for you to purchase, suggesting that this was the way to beautiful skin.

We here at Body Enlightenment have said it before and we’ll keep saying it, [tweet_dis]”Authentic Beauty is simple”[/tweet_dis], and doesn’t need to take hours or a whole cupboard full of chemically laden products to have you glowing and loving who you see in the mirror.

So let’s get started…

Face Massaging

After beautifully  cleansing and exfoliating your face –

Step 1:

  • Dispense one full squirt of Skin Renewal Solution onto the palm of your hand
  • Gently swipe both hands together.
  • Raise them to your nose and take in a big of whiff of that beautiful botanical bouquet. (Believe it or not this is a very important step. The blend of wildcrafted and organic ingredients have been combined for their therapeutic and restorative qualities that start the moment you inhale their intoxicating aroma.)
  • You can also use cold pressed virgin coconut oil, jojoba oil or any oil you just love the feel of on your skin.

Step 2:

  • Lightly press the oil onto your face and evenly distribute
  • Starting at your forehead, using moderate pressure, massage from the centre out towards the temples. (Notice what feels good and what doesn’t. Don’t shy away from the areas that are tender but rather slow and hold the pressure while inhaling and letting go.)
  • Continue down the face with mindful and loving movements, alternating with deep pressure on the bones of your jaw and anywhere else that you don’t normally spend time. (This is an exercise in getting to know all the areas of your face and feeling your way around to locate the tension in all these well used but under appreciated muscles that help you communicate day in day out.)

Step 3:

  • Using a feather light touch, sweep your hands from the centre of your face out, down your neck and through your hair. You could even grab a handful of your hair in both hands and gently pull to lift the skin off your scalp while breathing in and exhaling to finish.

Ahhhh, there you go, you’re feeling all loved up and it didn’t cost a fortune or take hours of your time.
This massage can be done in whatever time you have available. I do suggest you indulge at least once a week for noticeable improvements, in the tone and texture of your skin, as well as in your stress levels, which of course are written all over your face.
