OK, so you’ve planned, you’ve packed and are now on your way to your holiday destination. You’re traveling in the car filled with excitement for your adventure ahead, and just as you’re feeling calm, confident and ready to slip into holiday mode, you catch sight of yourself in the car’s rear-view mirror, Eeeeeeeeeek! What’s that you see looking back at you from your chin???
A spot, zit, pimple, blemish, bloody Mt. Vesuvius has appeared on your face in the time you left the house and got into the car! You can’t believe it and feel the panic set in!
Now hold it right there…..fear not. These things happen, and right there in that moment, you have two choices.
You can whip into a frenzy, rummaging through your bag, trying to find something, anything to magically banish that thing from your face. Nothing?! You haven’t got anything! You start to panic and start squeezing, prodding and poking the offending spot, splat! You got it but now it’s bleeding. It won’t stop! You use a tissue to blot it. You try to cover it with some makeup you have in your purse. It’s not working and your destination is getting closer!
It seeps through and starts to look like something from a horror movie! The only thing that you can do is tear a bit of tissue and stick it to the mess to stop it from oozing all over you face. You’re now imagining the scab that will be covering your chin all the time you’re on holidays! You’re now thinking… Holiday ruined!!!
You can mix up this little lifesaver and have it at the ready for an occasion such as this. Dab a little to the area. Be confident that it will subside, and be well assured that the world and your holiday will not end because of a gathering of sebum (the skin’s natural oil) and a few pesky but easy to eradicate bacteria.
You are calm and confident knowing the most Beautiful thing you can be is YOU, with whatever is going on.
Zit Zapper in a Stick
This remedy just couldn’t be easier as it only contains two ingredients. But don’t be deceived by the simplicity of this little recipe as both ingredients contain powerful antibacterial and antifungal properties ready to fight the good fight and blow those pesky zit-causing bacteria clean off your beautiful face…where they have NO business being.
- 1 tablespoon organic cold pressed coconut oil (please read our 101 on coconut oil, cause all oils ain’t just oils)
- 6 drops of tea tree essential oil
- Melt coconut oil by placing in a small glass jar and placing in hot (not boiling) water.
- When melted add tea tree essential oil and mix.
- Pour into an empty lip balm tube or container. This will be easy to carry with you to have on hand to zap those zits whenever they appear.
Opulent Skin Drops
Just simply dab a little of this wonder in a bottle, straight onto that pimple or blemish and in no time at all, it will be just a distant memory. This skillfully blended potion is perfect for anything that ails your skin including the dreaded cold sore. And the best part is this tiny bottle is filled to the brim with all sorts of bacteria-busting botanicals and takes up no space at all in your bag.
