Sir Ken Robinson: Do Schools Kill Creativity?

by | 2 comments

Sir Ken Robinson speaks from the heart about how precious, unique and beautiful our creativity is and how tenderly it should be treated. We are born creative, and are educated out of it.

Sir Ken has a wicked sense of humor which will have you laughing out loud – and yet the message is profoundly powerful. He looks at the hierarchy of academic subjects. Maths and science are taught more than arts and drama. He wittily points out how as children grow up, we teach them from the waist up – mainly their heads… and to one side! Take some time to watch this – you will learn and laugh A LOT!

If you’re not prepared to be wrong – you’ll never come up with anything original. In school and business today we stigmatize mistakes – mistakes are the worst thing you can make. We are educating people out of their creative capacities.

Next week we have 3 great homeschooling interviews for you, that will blow your socks off 😉
