I recently had a conversation with someone who has tried so many products on the market to help control the redness, sensitivity and breakouts on her face and chest. After looking over her diet and the amount of stress she had in her life, I knew she needed a big change.

I believe that food is more than what taste good, don’t get me wrong I love exploring the different flavors of food, but I believe that fruits and vegetables provide nutrients to our skin cells at a cellular level. I remember having a conversation once with a dermatologist who didn’t see the connection between poor diet and inflammation of the skin. My first thought was that this person is a dermatologist and has gone to medical school and who am I to sit and explain how what we eat has a huge impact on our skin. Well after working with several skin care clients and noticing the visible difference in their skin after changing their diet and lifestyle, I can now say without a doubt, that foods, especially fruits and vegetables have a major impact on the health of our skin.

· One cup coconut water
